What it sounds like
The same shape as a Celtic Minor, starting on E: minor, no sixth, open and singing. The E ding makes it a little brighter and higher than the D Celtic.
Is it a good first handpan?
Yes. Gentle and easy to play melodies on.
Try it properly before you buy one. A real E Amara usually costs NZ$2,000 to 4,000 and makers often have months-long queues.
In Tonefield you can play it in 3D for free, loop yourself, add a beat, turn it into a song and film it in a world of its own,
on your phone or computer. No wrong notes.
