What it sounds like
A full major scale around D: happy, uplifting and song-like. It's the scale for children's music, pop melodies and anything joyful.
Is it a good first handpan?
Yes, if you love major keys. Most handpans are minor, so a major pan stands out.
Try it properly before you buy one. A real D Sabye usually costs NZ$2,000 to 4,000 and makers often have months-long queues.
In Tonefield you can play it in 3D for free, loop yourself, add a beat, turn it into a song and film it in a world of its own,
on your phone or computer. No wrong notes.
